In series production, 3D-printed parts are being used more and more frequently – not just for small batches and prototypes. This makes it crucial that the surface quality of the parts is optimized in every respect. With our processes and methods, we bring 3D-printed components and housings up to the visual and functional standards of finished products! Firstly, this applies to the visual appearance, which is naturally especially important for visible components. Secondly, the technical properties of the parts' surfaces are also significant in many cases. Our diverse range of surface coating methods and finishes are ideal for meeting a wide variety of requirements.
Richard Wöhr GmbH's surface technology covers the following applications:
• increased chemical resistance
• enhanced UV resistance
• high-resistance ESD protection
• low-resistance EMC protection
Is your 3D-printed part the wrong color because the filament for your 3D printer isn't available in the desired shade? Our coating systems allow for complete color matching to other components of a device – even metallic-looking surfaces are possible. We can also vary the surface gloss level. Surface defects, such as small holes or fine seams, can be invisibly concealed with a coating. With our expertise, we adjust the coating so that cracks, holes, and seams become virtually undetectable. The advantage of all our coating technologies for our customers: they receive ready-to-sell parts and components suitable even for demanding users – all with the proverbial excellent quality of Richard Wöhr GmbH.
